When I chose the natural lifestyle, I had no idea what I was going to do with my natural hair, but one thing that kept me going was that comforting feeling that came with the realization that I wasn’t alone. It was clear we were all struggling, and a lot of us had no idea what we were doing, but we were determined to go through.

So, Paris is a city with probably more “naturalistas” than “relaxed babes”. There’s everything you’d need to survive the natural journey, plus that sisterly feeling you get from those sharing the same goal with you; “To thyself, be true”. Though some may say it’s just fashion, I believe there’s always that feeling that comes with looking at one’s self in the mirror and wondering; “How did I not know I possessed such magic?” That my dear, is truth to thyself, and the more you know, the more you want to know.

Every time I’ve been asked why I decided to go natural, my answer had always been “long hair”, but even though it started with that, I believe it has grown to be much more. I know some of you have probably grown weary of the constant clatters of naturalistas, but you’d agree with me that when you can finally be at peace with who, and what you really are, there’s an upgrade of self – confidence and esteem, which could be very overwhelming. So please, let us enjoy our moments, before the next good thing drops!
